First of all, AI generating art is just a tool to me, only much unstable and unpredictable. When I do my work, I would use it to correct some details I've done wrong. But I never use it to create stuff because the generated images were too different from my thoughts. To me this thing doesn't provide ideas, it was just doing statistics. Second, the AI never bothers me on the creativity level. But it bugges me when it comes to copyrights and the definition of "artwork". Especially when you are trying to talk about that if the AI generated art was your original creation or not. In my opinion, it's none of the problems to those who showed their unique style because they were unable to be copied. But to those who rely more on painting than using creativity to much, AI generated art could be a death blow to their career. Third, I found some people, even those who were able to paint, got too obsessed with these generated stuff. It sorta provided the illusion of "I can paint""Not so hard to be an artist" bullshit. I even once got a moron ran into me, trying to mock me for taking too much time on doing one single work with his AI work. Of course, I embarrassed that SOB by pointing out the "gaps" of his unworthy garbage. I honestly won't try to tell that the truth of artwork or aesthetic standard, or anything that art school classes talked about. Because it's unnecessary to feed the swines with well-made food. Everyone have their pens and papers. But how many great artwork can be done on those papers? So if someone tries to tell me that I am a fool to despise other people that enjoying the AI generated art, I would say: Only the dickless cowards hide behind the AI, and laugh their asses off like the swines in the pit.
